BT Redcare Assure

BT Redcare Assure is an alarm transmission system (ATS), encompassing the whole of the alarm transmission network from the customers’ premises to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), via a highly secure, robust and fully duplicated redcare managed network with host control rooms constructed and managed to BS5979.

BT Redcare Assure meets the challenging requirements of BRE/LPCB LP1277 Issue 2.2 standard for Fire and Security dual-path alarm signalling systems, integrated with video surveillance technology.

It combines the benefits of i) a Broadband primary path with a GPRS secondary path suitable for sequential alarm verification, with ii) video technology for remote visual monitoring and event based recording, all in an integrated single cost effective IP solution.

The entire network is fully managed and monitored, with redcare taking responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of alarm signals to the ARC.
